When using the water heater, it's important to pay attention to several key points: 1. Install the battery correctly, observing the "+" and "-" markings. 2. Ensure the water heater is hung upright, as it will stop working if tilted more than 45 degrees. 3. Turn on the switch located below the unit. 4. Only turn on the switch of the shower head to start the water heater. 5. Do not use the water heater in a sealed environment, as this can lead to CO poisoning.

During installation, it's crucial to follow the proper steps: 1. Wrap all three connectors under the water heater with Teflon tape. 2. Do not wrap the male end of the gas adapter with Teflon tape. 3. If your garden hose has a 3/4" GHT male connector, connect a 1/2" NPT female × 3/4" GHT female adapter and wrap Teflon tape around the garden hose connector. 4. If your garden hose has a 3/4" GHT female connector, connect a 1/2" NPT female × 3/4" GHT male adapter and wrap Teflon tape around the adapter.
